First Presbyterian Church of Sandpoint, Idaho is a certified Earth Care Congregation within the Presbyterian Church (USA).  To celebrate next week’s Earth Day, the congregation’s Earth Care Team will lead the worship service this Sunday, April 18, 2021, in-person at 10:30 a.m., and streaming via Facebook Live.  Worship will be held in the historic sanctuary but concludes outdoors.  In the Community Peace Garden, a flowering plum tree will be planted in the boulevard along North Fourth Avenue.  Also, on the south end of the building, several new Community Garden beds, made in conjunction with Bonner Community Food Bank, will be dedicated and blessed to grow as one effort toward food security in our local area.  Come and celebrate collaboration and love for God’s creation.
