The congregation is partnering with the community in transforming the lawnscape of the church yard into a welcoming space for gatherings and personal reflection. Events such as outdoor weddings, concerts and craft booths will draw people together. The quiet, natural setting provides a space to experience peaceful renewal in the heart of downtown Sandpoint.

Some planned elements include:

• A prayer labyrinth
• A Peace Pole with “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in 12 languages
• Round picnic tables
• A Little Free Library Box
• A gazebo donated by the Rotary Club of Sandpoint
• Native plants and fruit trees
• Memorial Garden with flowers and shrubs
